This beautiful plaza is situated between the Seville Cathedral with the Giralda Tower and the Real Alcazar. It is also flanked by the Indian Archives and all three have been designed UNESCO World Heritage buildings - which means almost every visitor to Seville comes to this plaza.
The Seville Cathedral is the third largest in the world and is believed to hold the remains of Christopher Columbus. The Real Alcazar is the oldest palace in Europe still in use by a royal family. The royal occupy the top floors while the grounds are open to the public. If you are a Game of Thrones fan, the palace will be familiar to you as some of the scenes from Season Five were shot there.
