El Rincóncillo is a historic bar and restaurant located in the city center. The main floor is where you'll find the traditional bar with a wood front and exposed brick walls. Upstairs is a dining room furnished simply, with white linen tablecloths and wood accents. The bar used to be a convent, dating back to 1670 and on display are numerous bottles of liquor that aren't for sale, just for show. Their menu consists mainly of tapas, like omelets, soups, cold cuts, and a variety of fritters. It does attract quite a few tourists, but generations of Sevillian families have gathered here, and continue to do so.
