Pablo and Dali

In a gesture of benevolent generosity, billionaire Mallorcan Banker Juan March opened his private art collection to the public. The result, the Museum of Contemporary Spanish Art is an oft-overlooked gem of an exhibition. Though the selection is small (only 70 paintings are displayed) what is lacked for in scope is more than picked up in sheer quality. You'll find works by Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Juan Gris and Salvador Dalí to name a few. There are also pieces by some of Spain's more avant-garde modern artists and souvenirs aplenty in the obligatory Museum Shop to round out the experience.
