Stroll around La Llotja to explore the vibrant street life that is characterized by little alleys full of cute cafes, bars and abundant gardens. This Gothic building, originally for the Association of Merchants, reminds all who pass, of the extensive history of this island that dates back to the Roman period. The exterior, reminiscent of a castle, rises high into the sky among palm trees, and is worthy of a photo. The nightlife around here is relaxed and known for reasonably priced drinks. A prime example of this is Bar Cuba Colonial. Here, a lounge atmosphere has been incorporated into a historical building. The ground floor plays salsa music and has wicker chairs among palms. Downstairs, DJs ignite dance parties. Always, good drinks are matched with good company.
