Beaux-Arts-Style Building

Constructed in 1910, the Metropolis Building is home to offices today, but it's an important Madrid landmark with its Beaux-Arts design and stunning architectural features. Designed by Jules and Raymond Fevrier, the building continues to boast beautiful statue atop its roof. Unfortunately, however, the new owners felt compelled to remove the original statue and take it to display at their headquarters. Alas, they at least put effort into renovating this old building, which is sure to stop you in your tracks as you pass by.
