Life in a Cave

The Museo Cuevas del Sacromonte, chronicles the history of the Roma people who once lived in the area's caves. The 10 restored caves provide a glimpse into the daily lives of the cave dwellers.

You'll see examples of the baskets, pots and woven fabrics the Romas made and can view an exhibit dedicated to cave dwellers in other parts of the world. Each exhibit features English descriptions so you don't have to worry about missing anything if you don't speak Spanish. When the weather cooperates, you might even be treated to a Flamenco performance at the museum.
