Located in the picturesque Plaza del Campillo, Chikito is a classy, sophisticated Spanish-Portuguese restaurant serving beautifully cooked dishes spiced with the flavors of Granada’s Arab-Andalusian past. Directed by head chef Antonio Torres, the menu features succulent dishes such as bacalao, a Basque dish of salt cod with rich sauces; tortilla sacromonte, a typical Granadino omelet stuffed with sweetbread, potatoes, ham, and sheep’s brain; choice cuts of Argentine-style veal steak; and rabo de toro, a hearty oxtail stew cooked in a velvety meat and wine sauce. If you get the chance, enjoy your meal in the outdoor terrace. Seated underneath the beautiful wrought iron pergola, diners can take in a clear view of the plaza fountain and lights. It is a lovely place to take a romantic date or host an intimate dinner with friends.
