Spain's Favorite Sandwich

It's no Subway. Upon dining here, Mark Bittman of the New York Times announced that Viena had “the best sandwich in the world." A bold claim indeed, yet since this remark was made Viena has been consistently packed with both travelers and locals who are curious to evaluate the truth of this claim. The sandwich in question – the mouthwatering flautas de Jamón ibérico – comes at a price tag of under €7 and features thinly sliced bread upon which is layered succulent with ham that has been dipped in tomato juice.
