Spread out over three floors in the Palau Clarina Padellàs, the Barcelona History Museum tells the amazing history of the Catalonia's capital. The spectacle begins at the entrance to the museum where there are displays of ancient pottery and other items that were unearthed during excavations for the building. Starting with the elevator ride in the basement, visitors will embark upon a 2,000 year journey beginning in Roman times and progressing up to the modern day. Tickets for this museum are valid for all other MUHBA sites, including the monastery at Pedralbes and the Museu Verdaguer. Remember, however, they don't take credit cards so keep some cash handy.
