Wander for Hours

Stretching from La Rambla to Via Laietana, Barcelona's Gothic Quarter is packed with things to do to. The best way to explore the Gothic Quarter is to wander around on foot. The neighborhood is full of intriguing Spanish street performers, plenty of antique shops and restaurants, and a limitless array of beautiful architecture. For a small price, there are some places worth seeing in the Gothic Quarter, such as Barcelona's Cathedral. The Cathedral will wow architecture buffs with its rooftop gargoyles and clear Gothic influence. Another place worth visiting is Els Quatre Gats, a cafe where Picasso supposedly drank regularly and housed his first exhibition. Plan to spend a good chunk of time in the Gothic Quarter, as it's easy to get lost in the area's magnificence.
