Located in the trendy Woodstock neighborhood, aMadoda has been described as a combination of a shebeen (a type of "blind pig" bar), dance club and grilled meat paradise. The live music is central to the experience, but be prepared for lots of volume, and the dance floor can be packed at peak hours. The braai, however, is what it's all about. Sausages, ribs, pork chops, lamb chops, chicken wings and drumsticks, even sheep heads are given a special spice rub and grilled to perfection. Order for one or for an entire table of friends. You can even choose to have a braai grill and fresh meat delivered to your table so you can do the cooking yourself.
