Singapore's national botanical garden is an absolute wonder, blending Singapore's futuristic outlook with its underrated green side. It offers a beautifully designed series of outdoor gardens and conservatories (including climate-controlled greenhouses) to display plants from around Asia, as well as many from the rest of the world. The plan of this very large park includes a children's garden (with waterplay features, so kids can splash and enjoy themselves), the iconic Supertree Grove, a Cloud Forest, the Skyway, a sculpture garden, the famous Flower Dome, the educational World of Plants display and much more. Gardens by the Bay has festivals, special seasonal displays, concerts and movie screenings throughout the year. If you want to explore the world of tropical plants, take your children for a fun day or just take a break from the big city, the Gardens are there for your enjoyment. Admission to the outdoor gardens is free, but there is a small fee for the various conservatories and the Skyway. There are numerous restaurants and cafes, as well as a large gift shop.
