The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art features a collection of more than 6,000 items that include sculptures, paintings, illustrations, and more. As the site of major exhibitions, the gallery has been showcasing its collections since 1960. The galleries are actually spread across two buildings known as Modern 1 and Modern 2.
