Long Dead but Still Fun

The Soufrier Volcano (where the famous sulfur springs arise) hasn't erupted for over 200 years and it's considered well and truly dormant. But it's still exciting to see the crater, and invigorating to bathe in the hot muddy mineral baths of the spring, just a bit down from the top. The mud baths are reputed to help heal eczema, sun burns, arthritis, sore joints and other similar complaints. Many of the rich and famous seem to believe in the cure, going by the number of eminent visitors.

Be aware of the strong sulfurous smell from the springs that some people find unpleasant, and the heat which is rather intense, but your soft skin will thank you.
