This elegant cocktail lounge is located on the second floor of an historic Colonial-era building in Old San Juan. The beautiful architecture and décor provide a relaxing atmosphere, although the building was once the home of Pedro Albiza Campos (one of the leading figures in the Puerto Rican independence movement) and later the headquarters for the Nationalist Party.
While you take in the memorabilia, photographs and press clippings related to the location's past, you can enjoy classic and signature cocktails, such as gimlets, negroni, Old Fashioned and Manhattans, or try out a basil mojito guava Cosmopolitan. The bartenders also specialize in rum cocktails, using only the best ingredients, such as the patria libre, La Nota, daiquiris and the grito de lares. While you sip your drink, enjoy a tapas or dessert. Brunch specials are available Tuesday through Friday.
