Lined with bright, cheery buildings and a colorful cathedral, San Juan’s Plaza de Armas is a quaint stone square, typically blanketed by tourists, locals, and lots of pigeons. The wood benches are an excellent place to take a breather or watch people feed the birds, however, beware of the chaos when the birds decide to take flight. Be sure to check out the marble statues, created as a tribute to Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter - they were originally placed in the corners of the square, but have since been relocated around the Four Seasons Fountain.
