If your timing to this restaurant is right, you will have the fortune of being able to stay for the entire night. This intimate, local-approved establishment hosts delightful fado music several nights a week, and for the price of your meal you get an entire show (and some great company as well). The husband and wife team who run the restaurant pair up to prepare delicious local meals and later go on to perform moving fado sets, sometimes bringing in their friends to add to the spectacle. If you don’t come for fado, you’ll nonetheless enjoy traditional Portuguese cuisine with no frills. Flavorful seafood and rice dishes sound pretty good to us.
