Bairro Alto is home to some crazy, run-down looking restaurants, but this is one shining exception. A semi-new tapas bar has moved into the area and people seem to enjoy its presence. This could be for a number of reasons, but the delicious gourmet tapas are probably at the top of the list, and should be tried by anyone who likes sampling lots of different foods during mealtime. Cuttlefish, seared tuna, crab cakes, and octopus stew are all on offer and resemble the traditional dishes, with just a bit of a modern twist. The atmosphere is also interesting; upon entering you’ll find a couple long tables meant for a family-style ambiance, so say hello to the person next to you and maybe they’ll offer you a bite of that daring dish you were too afraid to order.
