At Assinatura, whose name means “signature” in Portuguese, guests can experience strong, modern, and exquisite flavors under the inventive direction of head chef Henrique Mouro. Among their best dishes are lombo de borrego, a dish of roasted lamb with figs and grapes; skewered octopus with corn, cabbage, and a touch of bright cilantro; and pêssgos assados em leite crème, a dessert of roasted peaches with milk crème. The restaurant space is a warm, minimalist interior with plush red and white chairs, a gorgeous chandelier, and photographic mural of Lisbon’s iconic landmarks. Downstairs, the Chef’s Table is available to a privileged few who are able to watch the chefs at work, perhaps even enjoy a toast of wine with Henrique Mouro himself.
