The oceanfront neighborhood of Miraflores is one of Lima's ritzier quarters, home to many shops, malls, restaurants, lounges, and clubs--not least in the tourist hub of Pizza Street. A number of parks provide nice gathering places, as do the Costa Verde beaches frequented by surfers. You can also dig into history here, though: at the Museum Amano and Enrico Poli Museum, for instance, both of which include some fantastic collections of pre-Columbian artifacts. One of Lima's notable archaeological sites also lies within Miraflores: Huaca Pucllana, a tiered adobe pyramid of the Lima Culture.
