Dinner With a Side of Ruins

Huaca Pucllana describes one of Lima's best-known archaeological sites, a great adobe temple built by the pre-Incan Lima Culture. But it's also the name of a ruin-side restaurant that combines some fine Peruvian dishes with views of the 1,600-year-old pyramid. The menu at Huaca Pucllana Restaurant serves as a nice representative spread of novoandina cuisine, spotlighting local ingredients and traditional fare with creative tweaks and plenty of injections of international cookery.
