Vondelpark is the largest park in Amsterdam and has been a major part of the city for over 145 years. The park contains an open-air theater where productions are put on during the summer, a film museum that screens classic black and white films, as well as contemporary digital movies, and a large playground for families and children. With all of this, it's no wonder that Vondelpark attracts over 10 million visitors per year. There's never a dull moment at the park, so bring a picnic lunch and watch the street artists and performers do their thing.
