The oldest traditional farmer's market in Leon is a delight. The vendors offer everything from fruits and vegetables to meats, even seafood stalls, this far from the Gulf! Look for flowers, candy and, because this is the garden spot of central Mexico, honey, wax and bee-based creams. Not hungry? Children's toys and clothing and religious candles and figurines are abound at this beloved market, as well as a myriad of leather goods befitting Leon's title as shoemaking center of Mexico.
