'Osterie' in Italy were originally places serving wine and simple foods, although over the years food has become more emphasized. True to its name, Osteria del Bugiardo bottles Valpolicella from its own vineyard in addition to a wide selection of other wines. Organized as more of a wine bar, you won't find a menu here, but rather a display of various local cuisines that a waiter will bring you after you select what you want. If you aren't sure what to get don't hesitate to ask for a recommendation, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their wines and complimentary snacks and meals.
