You will not find another castle like this one in all of Verona. Lofty ramparts survey a river the color of jade and a town that still bears traces of the kingdom it once was. From up here it's easy to believe in a lot of things, like a love as true as Romeo and Juliet's and the pure romanticism of travel. Inside there is a fine little museum dedicated to the architectural wonders of Carlo Scarpa, which is well worth a leisurely browse-through.
