In order to get a true Venetian experience, you must attend one of the performances at Musica a Palazzo during your visit. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it's much more intimate than other operas in Venice. After each intermission, you’ll often change rooms with the rest of the cast; this is scene change in the most literal and fun sense of the word. The people who run the show will offer you complementary (and essentially unlimited) glasses of wine for the "trouble" of moving with the performers from stage to stage-and that sounds like the kind of trouble we want you to get in.
