Consisting of a campo surrounded by very tall buildings, the Jewish Ghetto stands alone, disconnected from the Venetian culture that surrounds it. The buildings around the Ghetto can be up to seven stories, constructed due to lack of space, and many of the top floors are synagogues. Tours are offered for three of these synagogues by the nearby Museo Communità Ebraica. You can find a couple of Holocaust memorials here as well, designed by sculptor Arbit Blatas.
