The original Tratto-ria Mamalicia opened in the 1950’s and was a favorite local hang-out for intellectuals, artists, and students. Re-opened in 2007 by Chef Maria Buzzi after several years of closure, the new Tratto-ria Mamalicia is dedicated to preserving native culinary traditions and methods of preparation. The menu changes with the seasons, using only fresh, local ingredients. The wine list is small, but efficient, including reasonably-priced house wines Dolcetto, Barbera, and Cortese.
