Fruit Bearing

In the 19th century, Francis Garnier Valletti began his agricultural research in Turin, scientifically studying local fruits. Museo della Frutta houses more than a thousand artificial fruits molded by Valletti, including extensive varieties of grapes, peaches, pears, apples, plums, and much more. The collections are particularly relevant today, giving insight into the evolution of agricultural research, and contemporary concerns over biodiversity.
