Located in the same building as the Museo Egizio, Galleria Sabauda houses a generous, eclectic collection of 365 paintings ranging from the Italian Piedmontese school to the work of Dutch masters. Crown jewels of the gallery include a priceless polyptych by Giovanni Canavesio, the "Madonna and Child with Saints" by Andrea Mantegna and "The Dinner" by Paolo Veronese. The collection dates back to 1497 and of course, the building itself is a piece of history--this is Italy, after all.
