Pocket-Sized Theater

While perhaps lacking the scale that some of the other ruins around Sicily boast, the Roman Odeon is nonetheless a sight to behold and one often missed by most tourists. Uncovered at the end of the 1800s, this pocket-sized theatre shouldnt be missed if you’re looking to unearth some of Sicily’s ancient past.

Comprised of both the Roman theater (which was probably used for small, intimate vocal performances) and the marble steps of what used to be a Greek temple, you’ll get your antiquity fix in one place—and what a place, indeed!
