Located in Piazza del Popolo, the sister churches of Santa Maria dei Miracoli and Santa Maria di Montesanto stand majestically at the south end of the Piazza del Popolo. Not only do they share similar names, but their looks are pretty similar, as well.
While the differences are pretty subtle (dei Miracoli's dome, for instance is octagonal, while di Montesanto's dome is dodecagonal), they're both gorgeous pieces of architecture, and and amazing look into Rome's past.
