Located right in the heart of Trastevere, Rivadestra features authentic Italian and Mediterranean cuisine at reasonable prices. With a set 4 course meal for €24, and a weekend special 5 course menu for €30, Rivadestra is where you will find some of the best bang for your buck in the Eternal City. The freshly prepared food changes with the seasons and is made from regional produce and meats, which are crafted into delicious appetizers and main courses. Try the seafood risotto, one of the many delicious pasta dishes, or the steak or sea bass fillets. Those dining before 8pm will most likely be the first ones here, as this place tends to fill up from 9pm onwards with a mostly local crowd. As you probably know it’s hard to find a restaurant in Rome with excellent service, yet this one stands out as the owner of the establishment, a Sommelier named Stefano, does most of the table work himself and is very knowledgeable about wine.
