Located just five miles from the city center, Parco degli Acquedotti is a public park named after the remains of the aqueducts that intersect it. Although close to the city, this park retains its’ tranquil ambiance as the park still grows crops and sheep can be seen grazing here. That is not to say that there is no modern influence, however. The park is near to one of Rome's movie studios so it is often used as a location for filming. The entire park is closed to private traffic on Sundays and holidays, so it then becomes Rome's largest pedestrian-only zone.
