If Anthony Bourdain suggested it, you know it’s going to be dripping with authenticity and will be absolutely delicious, if not a bit off-the-wall. At I Porchettoni der Pigneto, pork is the specialty and no one in Rome makes it quite like they do here. You can order it just about any way you want, but no matter how it’s cooked, it’ll be presented on plastic plates and ideally ordered with an ice cold Peroni. This restaurant is a great place for a casual aperitivo, dinner or late night snack, at plastic-plate prices.
