This is one of the best art museums Rome has to offer. It contains several different galleries with collections of sculptures and paintings dating from the 17th century to the 19th century, including the beloved Bernini sculptures, as well as works from Rubens, Caravaggio, and Raphael.
The museum itself a pretty manageable size and is filled with impressive pieces, which makes it a great choice for everyone from backpackers to travelers with kids. There is also a lovely park in front of the villa that is great for a picnic, some leisurely reading, or a relaxing sit-down.
