The Culture of Architecture

Located in Esquiline, the Casa dell'Architettura hosts exhibits featuring some of the most innovative and cutting-edge architects. The mission of this architectural hub is to promote the culture of Roman and contemporary architecture by examining the way that architectural language can induce exchange and communication. They often host meetings with architects, films or other events to support these discussions. Some include Christian iconography reinterpreted by pop artists, an orchestra performance of Pink Floyd, and cultural exchanges with Oman through art. Formally an aquarium built by architect Ettore Bernich, the Casa dell’Architettura built in the late 19th century, decked out in cool architecture itself of nautical nature, will have something to intrigue.
