The Via dei Tribunali has been at the center of Neapolitan commerce for over 2,000 years, since the time of the Romans. The street is filled with shops selling over 600 pasta varieties, cafes and homes, and contains some of the oldest pieces of architecture in Naples. Perhaps its most popular attraction, however, is the abundance of authentic pizza shops that made the dish famous. One tradition too keep an eye out for: mothers lower buckets filled with goodies for their children, or some item they've forgotten to take with them.
