The Orto Botanico di Napoli, A.K.A. Naples Botanical Garden, is home to more than 10,000 species of plants and dates all the way back to 1810. The grounds are spectacular with their impeccably kept flower beds and botanical displays.
When visiting the garden, you'll find many unique small structures located throughout the grounds as well as highlights like the restored 17th century "castle" as it is called and the Merola Greenhouse. The garden is wonderfully tranquil, a great contrast to the bustle of the city, and is amazingly diverse. This is a great place to stroll to enjoy the natural beauty and climate of Naples.
