Named for the famous Italian book “The Talisman of Happiness” by Ada Boni, this restaurant seeks to bring the forgotten flavors of Neapolitan cuisine to the forefront. However, do not mistake their recipes for traditionalism. Their dishes emphasize harmony between flavors, hence the presence of non-traditional ingredients, unusual pairings of seasonings and textures, and contorni (side dishes) on their menu. Try the Sardinian gnocchi with eggplant, basil, and spicy parmesan; Thai warm salad with zucchini, carrots, bean sprouts, shrimp, and chili; or the Panzanella pie stuffed with eggplant, peppers, provolone, croutons, and basil. The menu also includes excellent pizzas, calzones, and miniature versions of the main menu items for children.
