According to the legend, one of the bakery’s founders made chocolate medallions filled with rum cream and hazelnut to win the heart of a capricious chanteuse. Almost one hundred years later, these delicate chocolates are still made by hand today in the historic bakery and confectionary Scaturchio. Classically trained bakers turn out some of the most delightful and artistic sfogliatella, cakes, and white-rum babà in Naples, which visitors can enjoy with a cup of fine espresso and tea in the restaurant area.
