A View Atop History

Built out of the rubble of World War II, Monte Stella (known by locals as "Montagnetta di San Siro") is a 150-foot-tall hill that offers a near-panoramic view of Milan. Climb to the top and see if you can spot Milan's iconic sights: San Siro stadium, Madonna del Duomo (the statue at the top of the Cathedral of Milan), and even the Alps reveal themselves on a clear day. The hill is home to a 90 acre park that is great for walking, hiking, biking, or just relaxing. This is a great place to spend some time enjoying natural surroundings on a beautiful day.
