Located near the shopping district of Corso Buenos Aires and the busy city center (Duomo), Giardini Pubblici is a relaxing green space for visitors and residents alike. The noise from central Milan seems to fade away into budding orchards, rocky outcrops, and natural springs. The park is dotted with many statues of local Milanese figures from the 19th and 20th centuries. At the center of the park is a refreshment bar with outdoor tables. Bordering the park are several affordable attractions (under 8 euros) such as the Museo Civico di Storia Naturale di Milano, Civico Planetario, Galleria d’Arte Moderna, and Padiglion d’Arte Contemporanea. Nearby are some children’s gardens offering seasonal attractions such as an electric train, pony rides, and playgrounds.
