Moment of Silence

This almost invisible little cloister just off Piazza San Marco is one of the many subtly delightful facets of Florence, and is often missed by tourists in favor of more obvious attractions. However, the frescoes have been recently restored and are great examples of Florentine Mannerist art and should be seen by all lovers of art and art history. Since you’ll be one of the only people there, you can take as much time as you want to sit and look at the art, or just take in the peaceful setting and temporarily forget about the loud urbanity right outside.
