Pablo Picante was born in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico to humble beginnings. He was one of seventeen kids including a twin brother, Pedro. When Pablo was very young, his 'padres' made the migration to USA to earn money for their family. Aunt Conchita took over the parenting duties and Pablo was obliged to learn to cook. Under the tutelage of Aunt Conchita, Pablo learned the secret tastes and recipes from the entire region of California (on both sides of the border). Baggot Street, is Pablo's first burrito bar in Ireland and is very small but 'perfecto' for the nutritious food made speedy. After winning the Best Burrito in Dublin 2010 from Entertainment.ie and after being voted the 4th most popular restaurant in Dublin by the Dubliner Magazine, Pablo made the decision to make another burrito bar for his growing legion of compadres. Now Pablo has opened a second bar in Clarendon Market.
