The narrow throughway of Paul Street is one of Cork's more concentrated shopping drags, though it lacks the scale and thrum of St. Patrick's Street not far away.
Barbershops and salons, boutiques and outdoor shops, cafes and bakeries: There's a decent variety to the retail here, despite the street's modest length. Perhaps not really a destination in and of itself, Paul Street's fun to stroll through while hoofing around Cork's city center--especially as a complement to the bolder and busier tempo of St. Patrick's.
