La Grotta Beach is a true ocean paradise in the Ionian Islands, made even more enjoyable if you happen to like jumping from really high cliffs into water that is precariously close to rocks.
Even if your tastes run to more mundane things like relaxing in warm crystal-clear waters, La Grotta has you covered. The waters are ideal for snorkeling or just laying out on an inflatable pad, and sun worshipers are always quick to stake out a place for themselves on the rocks. A hotel and a small bar that was originally built in the 1960s are the only signs of civilization in what is otherwise a haven of unspoiled nature with incredible views in every direction.
