For a change, this museum doesn't concentrate on the ancient glories of Athens, but on more 'modern' Greece, from the 15th century onwards. It's set in a lovely, green district with good restaurants nearby, and housed in the old parliament building which is interesting in itself. You can even sit in the former debating chamber.
