Stadtcafe is one of the trendiest cafes in Munich, well-known by the locals but often overlooked by tourists. They offer a variety of small plates throughout the day: coffee and tea alongside classic breakfast options and freshly made delicacies in the morning, small seasonal dishes during lunch that are "Typical Munich", and tapas as well as a number of beers on tap in the evening. There is optimal seating outside during the warmer months, with one of the nicest inner courtyards to sit at in the historical city. Otherwise, you can choose between sitting at the bar or at a table. Heavily populated with locals and a prideful German waitstaff, make sure you are prepared to translate the menu and have an authentic German cafe experience!
