While Munich is certainly a beautiful town, it’s hard to stay put when you’re in Europe. So, why not head across the border to Salzburg: birthplace of Motzart, and one of the best preserved cities (post WWII) in the North Alps—with some legendary Baroque architecture, no less. And we’re not the only ones who think it’s a beautiful place: in 1997 it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site—certainly nothing to scoff at.
